Save PokerStars Hand Histories to disk

PokerStars can save your hand histories to a designated folder on your computer’s hard drive.

To find or set the exact location, go to:
Settings > Playing History > Hand History
By default, this is often in a hidden AppData folder for Windows users, but you can change it to a folder of your choice.

Important tips:
  • Check the setting:
    Ensure the “Save My Hand History” option is enabled
  • Hidden folders:
    On Windows, the default AppData folder is hidden, so you may need to adjust your folder view settings to see it.
  • Use a dedicated folder:
    Consider creating a new folder (e.g., C:\HandHistories) to make them easier to find and manage.
  • Language:
    Make sure your hand history language is set to English to ensure they are imported correctly into analysis software like PokerTracker, HoldemManager or Drive2Hud.
