Where does iPoker save your Hand Histories?

To enable hand history saving in the IPoker client open the iPoker software, log in and go to:

My Account > Settings > GeneraliPoker Save Hand Histories to disk

and check the box for

Store Hand History Locally

This option, ensures that iPoker stores the hand histories locally on your computer, typically in a folder inside your user directory.

The exact path depends on your operating system:

  • Windows:
    C:\Users\Username\Local\iPoker Client\data\Screenname\History\Data
    • Mac:
      /Users/Username/Documents/iPoker Client/HandHistory

Where Username is your current computer user, iPoker Client is the name of the iPoker skin you’re playing on (Red Star Poker, Betfair Poker, RedStar Poker, Champion Poker, Betsafe, Betsson, Nordicbet, Bet365…), and Screenname is your screen name on the site.

Inside that folder, hand histories are usually saved as .txt files or sometimes .xml, with one file per session or per day depending on the client.

If you have trouble finding the folder in the Windows explorer follow our guide on how to access hidden folders in Windows.

      Attention:

The iPoker client must be installed with the language set to English. If the language was set to something other than English at installation, you will need to reinstall the client in English in order for it to work with for example PokerTracker, HoldemManager or Drive2Hud.
